As it is the EU mutual recognition of dispensing prescriptions that is causing the problem I cannot see how UK prescriptions will be dispensed by European/Netherlands based pharmacies. The solution has to be to import Bedrocan cannabis oil to the UK - is there dialogue with a
manufacturer with a specials licence or someone with a medicine wholesaler licence about importing it (with MHRA approval). It seems to me it has to be lawfully imported and then it can be dispensed from a pharmacy in the UK
This medication can be sourced through other alternative legal routes within the UK. There are many UK based companies who issue private prescriptions at prices similar to the costs of importing from The Netherlands that may be suitable for substitution, but they do have differences in composition and would therefore require careful medical management....
